Yes!  However... there are several things that can get in the way.  The primay issue is a framework level conflict between the Prototype javascript library used by jPFChat, and the MooTools javascript library incorporated into Joomla and used in many Joomla templates.

There are workarounds for most issues we've found.  Please read the articles on this site about Joomla 1.5, IE Hangs, and other related issues for as much info as we have available.
