jPFChat is based upon the phpFreeChat script (www.phpfreechat.com).   The jPFChat component integrates the full power of the jPFChat script into your Joomla website.  Registered users are automatically assigned their user name when they enter the chat while others get a "guest" designation (if you allow non-registered chatters).
